Product Features
- High reactivity; can replace a portion of diols.
- It offers certain anti-adhesion, anti-contamination, and graffiti-resistant properties.
- Low surface tension, promoting leveling
- Exhibits good compatibility and readily stabilizes bubbles, making it suitable for use in foaming systems.
Application Area
- Synthetic silicone-modified polyurethane: It is recommended to be added together with polyol monomers and react with isocyanate monomers at approximately 85°C. During the reaction with IPDI, the temperature should be elevated.
- Synthetic silicone-modified TPU and polyester resins: Generally added at a concentration of 0.2–0.5% to TPU polymer systems, they provide demolding and anti-adhesion effects; when added at 3–10%, they offer excellent hydrophobicity, stain resistance, and a silicone-like texture, and can be reacted simultaneously with polyols. For esterification reactions, they may replace part of the polyols; stepwise reaction is recommended for optimal performance.
- 2K polyurethane baked paint and amino baked paint: The carboxyl groups exhibit high reactivity; under high temperatures, they can participate in reactions between-NCO groups and amino groups, providing smoothness and stain resistance through the free silicone segments on the polymer surface.
Safety, Packaging and Storage
- Store at room temperature; do not open until use. Store in the original packaging. Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture. Not classified as a hazardous material.
