DPM-8513  Water-based wetting and dispersing agent

Overview

• DPM-8513 is a polymer wetting and dispersing agent containing a pigment-affinity group with a 50% active ingredient content; it exhibits broad compatibility in aqueous systems and demonstrates excellent stability when used with carbon black or organic pigments. This additive enables an increase in the pigment loading in formulations, reduces system viscosity, enhances color intensity and paint film gloss, while ensuring excellent fluidity in the coating system.

Application Area

• 1、This product is suitable for various water-based coatings and ink systems; to achieve optimal performance, the wetting and dispersing agent should be added to the grinding medium. For resin-free grinding processes, water, a cosolvent, and additives should be pre-mixed under stirring before the pigment is added; for resin-containing grinding processes, the resin, water, cosolvent, and additives should be thoroughly mixed before the pigment is added.
• 2、The recommended addition amount is as follows: the exact addition amount should be determined based on the pigment particle size and laboratory testing.

Safety, Packaging and Storage

• Store in a cool, well-ventilated place; if the product is not fully used, the container must be tightly sealed immediately; during storage or transportation at low temperatures, separation or turbidity may occur – heat the product to 30–60°C and mix thoroughly before use. Shelf life: 12 months.
