Overview

• This is a solvent-free silicone viscoelastic anticorrosive coating developed using silicone rubber as the main component, supplemented with other active additives and manufactured through specialized processes, which cures under ambient temperature humidity conditions. It is suitable for various specialized anti-corrosion applications including valve wells, flanges, valves, concrete foundations, pipeline supports, corroded bolts and nuts, marine steel piles, and other related components.

• Easy to apply; single-component formula that prevents sagging upon application, achieving a uniform finish in one coat.
• Solvent-free; excellent weather resistance and corrosion resistance.
• It exhibits excellent permeability and can penetrate into the gaps of various material substrates.
• The cohesion strength is lower than the bonding strength and does not separate from the bonding interface. 
• Not brittle at low temperatures (-60°C) and not flowable at high temperatures (200°C).

Application method

• Surface treatment: The coated steel surface must be thoroughly cleaned of oil stains, oxide scales, rust, and old coatings. Shot blasting or sandblasting may be employed, with a rust removal grade of at least Sa1 or St2 required. For concrete structures, surface dust should be removed directly; water stains must be avoided. For steel structures with existing coatings, the adhesion between the old coating and this product must be tested.
• Construction conditions: The construction temperature should be maintained between 5–35°C under adequate ventilation. Construction is strictly prohibited during adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog, strong winds, or high humidity. Additionally, similar weather conditions should be avoided within 6 hours after the commencement of work.
• Application method: Single-component paint; use directly after mixing. Recommended application area: 0.8–1.2 kg/m²; number of application layers: 2; dry film thickness: 1000–2000 μm. The actual paint quantity should be confirmed by the laboratory according to requirements.
• Safety Instructions: The construction site is equipped with adequate ventilation facilities. Personnel must take protective measures, including wearing gloves, masks, and protective goggles. In case of accidental exposure to the eyes or skin, immediately rinse with water. Seek medical attention promptly if discomfort occurs. Smoking and open flames are strictly prohibited at the construction site.
