DPM-1089R3 Silicone-modified aqueous polyurethane resin

Overview

• DPM-1089R3 is a silicone-modified polyurethane resin with a silicone content of 70% by solid content, achieving high enrichment of silicone segments; even small additions provide significant silicone-smoothness and anti-stain/anti-adhesion properties. It exhibits excellent compatibility with anionic and nonionic acrylic resins as well as polyurethane resins, allowing free mixing in any ratio without oil migration or compatibility issues. DPM-1089R3 is recommended as an additive resin for the surface treatment industry, suitable for use as an additive resin in water-based synthetic leather coatings, textile coatings, plastics, and functional coatings.

• The film surface exhibits strong silicone lubricity, as well as resistance to water and alcohol.
• The film exhibits outstanding anti-adhesion properties, with significant effects observed even at low concentrations.

Application Area

• Surface treatment of synthetic leather: 80–90%, enhancing the silicone-smooth texture and stain resistance as well as sweat resistance of the leather surface, while improving chemical resistance.
• Water-based textile coating: 75–85%, enhancing resin anti-adhesion properties, addressing high-temperature adhesion issues, and providing lasting silicone-smooth texture.
• Water-based plastic paint: 45–55% content; resistant to water and alcohol; features a strong silicone-based smooth texture.
• Water-based paper coating: 10–20%, providing lasting silicone-smooth texture, sweat resistance, and stain resistance.
• Wall coating: 10–20%, providing a tactile surface with anti-sticking and anti-tape properties.

Usage Mode

• As an additive resin, it is directly added to the main resin emulsion and mixed thoroughly before use.
• As the primary anti-fouling, anti-graffiti, and alcohol-resistant resin, add 3–4% polyazepide curing agent and cure at 130–150°C for 3–5 minutes.

Safety, Packaging and Storage

• Store in a dark, cool, and dry place at a temperature of 5–35°C, with the packaging intact. The shelf life of this product is 6 months from the date of manufacture; after 6 months, its efficacy should be confirmed by laboratory testing prior to use.
• This product requires strict protection from frost. After opening the packaging, it should be used immediately.
