DPM-8577 Solvent-based Modified Silicone Resin
Overview
DPM-8577 is a solvent-based silicone resin characterized by excellent resistance to both high and low temperatures, hydrophobic and moisture-resistant properties, as well as superior electrical insulation performance, including arc and corona resistance. It also offers outstanding weatherability and chemical stability. This product can rapidly achieve surface drying at room temperature; after complete curing, it features high hardness (≥2H), high gloss, good film build, and does not yellow at elevated temperatures. It possesses a high-level heat resistance rating.
DPM-8577 It can be used to prepare high-temperature resistant coatings (250–600°C), specialty coatings, and Class H insulating coatings.

Application area
- High-temperature resistant coatings, Class H insulating coatings, special coatings, etc.
- Baking and drying conditions recommended: 250°C for 20 minutes; 270°C for 15 minutes; 280°C for 10 minutes. Addition of 10% epoxy curing agent enables near-complete curing at room temperature.
- The diluent used for this product must not contain water, sulfur-containing compounds such as pyridine, or any impurities.
- During the processing of this product, a significant amount of flammable, explosive, and toxic solvents such as xylene volatilizes. It is essential to enhance on-site ventilation, implement fire prevention measures, and strictly eliminate all sources of ignition. Operators must adhere to proper personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.
- The equipment and utensils used during the processing of this product must be clean. Strict measures must be taken to prevent the introduction of dust, foreign particles, or moisture.
- Acids, alkalis, organic acid salts, and amine compounds accelerate the curing process of this product and adversely affect its thermal and electrical properties.
Safety, Packaging and Storage
